Obituary

Charles R. Mullikin, 95, of Oakville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2024. Born on November 13, 1928, Charles was the son of Raymond "Ray" and May (Bennett) Mullikin.
Charles enjoyed a successful 30-year career at Delco Remy and worked as a barber on the side for a decade. He was married to Beverly Mullikin for 75 years, and together they shared a passion for square dancing, vintage motorcycles, and travel. They explored all fifty states, sometimes by bus, and loved camping in their earlier years.
Charles is survived by his son, Wayne Mullikin (wife, Karen); his brother, Allen Mullikin; grandchildren, Heather, Megan, Chad, Steve, and Erika; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly; his parents, Raymond “Ray” and May (Bennett) Mullikin; daughter, Tien S. May; and sister, Maureen Daughtery.
The family has entrusted Garden View Funeral Home with the arrangements. Calling hours for friends and family will be held on August 23rd, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Kerri Hogue officiating. Burial will be held after the service at Gardens of Memory Cemetery - Muncie.
