Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Taylor, who left us on September 22, 2024, in Muncie, Indiana, at the age of 80. Born on May 4, 1944, in St. Charles, Virginia, he was the son of Carl Taylor and Georgia (Crisp) Taylor.
Charles proudly served in the Army and later worked as a Foreman, dedicating his life to his career. He had a passion for collecting knives, cherished family gatherings filled with laughter, and enjoyed watching wrestling.
Charles is survived by his son, Carl W. Taylor; step-son, David Patton; step-daughter, Barbara Jean Smith; brother, David Taylor;  and sister Judy Blevins.
Charles is preceded in passing by his parents, Carl Taylor and Georgia Taylor.
Family and friends may call at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie IN 47303, on Friday, September 27th, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Blevins officiating at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Garden View Funeral Home; online condolences can be made at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com.
