In Loving Memory of

Darlene Sue Ingalls

October 28th, 1966 - August 7th, 2024

Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Sue Ingalls on August 7, 2024 at the age of 57. A vibrant and cherished soul, Darlene was known for her larger than life personality that truly lit up every room she entered. Her energy and zest for life were unmatched making her a central figure in every gathering, and a beloved friend to many.
Darlene was a devoted mother to her sons, Jaden and Cody. Her unwavering love for them was evident for all to see whether they were having dinner at the Cheesecake Factory or enjoying a movie night together while savoring her uniquely burned popcorn. Her happiest times were spent with them. In addition to her role as a mother, Darlene found joy in shopping, the view of the lake from her balcony and staying connected with all her friends and family through social media. Her infectious laughter was recognizable to all. Darlene will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Darlene is survived by her sons, Jaden and Cody; sister Maria and half siblings, Carol, Ronnie, Cindy, Pam and Lisa. She also leaves behind many special cousins, nieces and nephews and cherished friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her mother and father, June and Bill Carrico.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 15 from 5 to 8 PM at the Barn at Bay Horse Inn, 1468 W. Stone Crossing Rd., Greenwood, IN 46143.
The family will have a private interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Darlene‘s name to Celebrate Recovery (www.celebraterecovery.com) or Stability First (www.stabilityfirst.org).
