Obituary

Gerald R. Foster, 84 of Greenwood passed away on Monday, October14, 2024. He was born to the late James and Bonnie Foster. 

Gerald loved old country and gospel music. He loved to watch cooking shows and enjoyed cooking. Gerald is known for his chicken stir fry and biscuit and gravy. 

Gerald is survived by his wife of 62 years Josephine Foster; two sons Scott Foster and Jeff (Brenda) Foster; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a brother Lewis Foster. He is proceeded in death by both parents; brothers Burrell foster and Bob Foster and a sister Nile Dean Durham.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Gerald will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with full military honors.
