Obituary

Jerry W. Perry, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024. A graveside service will be held at Crestwood Cemetery on Friday, September 13th, 2024, at 1 p.m. with military honors.
Jerry will be remembered as a jack of all trades. He was a retired electrician from the steel plant. He could fix anything, even attempted to build an airplane. He had many tractors and never got rid of any of them. He was an Air Force veteran, a Mason and a Shriner. He loved Alabama football and fishing. He could be a little ornery at times but was a loving husband, father and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
Preceded in death by his son Byron Craig Perry, parents Edwin and Lola Mae Perry, sister Jonnie Ruth Smith, Marjorie Dean Hall, brother Charles Perry, twin brother Garry Perry
Survived by his wife of 63 years Patricia Perry, children Todd (Karen) Perry, Kevin Perry, sister Donna (Terry) Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews
In lieu of food or flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
