John "Butcher" Carrillo, Jr. passed away on August 4, 2024 doing what he loved: riding his bike. He was born on May 7, 1974 to John and Minerva Carrillo in Brooklyn, New York.

John “Butcher” Carrillo Jr., a devoted father, son, brother, and friend, has left a lasting impact on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His untimely departure has left an immeasurable void in our hearts, but his legacy of love and compassion will continue to shine brightly.

As a single father, John dedicated himself to raising his son, with unwavering love and determination. He guided his son towards a future filled with promise and opportunity, instilling in him values of resilience and kindness that will endure for a lifetime. Johnito’s role as a father was a testament to his selflessness and unwavering devotion to his family.

John’s love extended deeply to his parents, brother, sister, nieces, and extended motorcycle tribal family, creating a monumental bond of strength and support that was unbreakable. Alongside his brother, he shared countless adventures, sometimes finding trouble, but always standing united in their protective love for their sister. Their unwavering loyalty and fierce protection formed a shield of love around their family.

In the midst of life’s ups and downs, John found solace and freedom on the open road with his beloved bike and extended brothers and sisters where he felt the wind in his face and the exhilaration of the ride beneath him. Riding his bike symbolized his sense of liberation and adventure, allowing him to navigate life’s twists and turns with courage and grace.

In honoring John’s memory, let us carry forward the lessons he taught us about love, unity, family, loyalty, respect, his legacy of love, and unwavering support for family and friends. Though he may have departed from this world too early, his spirit will continue to inspire us as we move forward, drawing strength from the love and memories he left behind. May John Raymond Carrillo, Jr. rest in eternal peace, knowing that his immeasurable legacy of love, loyalty, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his presence as we bid him farewell.

Friends and family of John “Butcher” Carrillo, Jr. are invited to gather on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home – Deltona. A funeral service will take place on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Deltona Memorial Gardens.
