Obituary
We celebrate the wonderful life of Juanita Delphine Rodman. Juanita was born in 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Arthur and Arpie Jane Embry.
Juanita was the youngest with older sister Margalene and brother Arthur Roderick. She was educated at David Lipscomb College yet soon met Eugene F. Rodman following World War II. Indeed, she welcomed Eugene to her Irvington Church of Christ and they eventually were married.
Juanita celebrated life with social friends and family throughout her life. She faithfully raised three children: Richard Eugene Rodman (Maria), Ronald Wayne Rodman (Mary Suzanne), and Rebecca Jane Vernon (Larry). She loved and adored her grandchildren: Gwyn Ellen, Joseph, Regina, Catherine, Evan, Emerson and Embry. Plus, her great grandchildren: Curran, Michael, Alexandra, Walker, Samuel, Emilia, and Elisabeth.
Mrs. Rodman passed away on October 25th, 2024 from natural causes. A celebration of life will be held with visitations from 4-7pm on Friday, November 1st and a service at 7 pm. The burial ceremony will be on Saturday at 10 am. All at Forest Lawn on State Road 135 in Greenwood, Indiana.
Finally, we surely must mention that Juanita's greatest gift beyond a loving mother and wife was her amazing sense of music and voice. Beautiful. Juanita's love of Christ shaped her entire life. Juanita loved others as herself in this very full life.
