Obituary

Leslie Lavern Ayers, 62, of Battle Creek, passed away June 12, 2022. Leslie was born May 13, 1960 in Kingsley, MI to Leon and Lily (Cable) Ayers. He was a true family man; nothing was more important than spending time with his family. He also loved to watch and play sports. He enjoyed camping, watching the news and following politics.
Leslie is survived by his daughter, Melissa Ayers; four grandchildren, Jessica Ayers, Preston McCann, Selena McCann and Hunter Ayers and his siblings, Lester (Beth) Ayers, Lorraine (Lloyd) Eash, Lisa O'Sullivan, Brenda Ayers, Laura (Kevin) Conklin, Jim (Brenda) Ayers, Karen Ayers, Dawn Ayers and Shannon Ayers. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Linda Ayers and Virginia Crago.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate Leslie's life will be Friday, June 17 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
