Obituary

Linda Kay Parker, 73, of Yorktown, Indiana, passed away at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital on August 23, 2024. Born in Muncie, Indiana, Linda's life was marked by dedicated service and commitment.
She served in the United States Air Force from August 1971 to December 1972, stationed in Montgomery, Alabama. Following her military service, Linda worked in Civil Service from September 1975 to July 1991, with roles at Ft. McClellan, Anniston Army Depot, and the U.S. Army Missile Command.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Parker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. The services will take place at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd 3, Muncie, Indiana. Pastor Rodney Eller will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Garden View Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com.
