eCondolence.com™ expands GriefDesk™ to create custom programs for health care and benefit organizations to provide information and resources to employees, individuals and families.
MIAMI, FL OCTOBER 19, 2016
Earlier this month, sympathy website eCondolence.com expanded, a business to business resource for health care professionals and benefit providers.
Since inception, eCondolence.com has primarily focused on providing information and resources directly to individuals. The site features a Learning Center for anyone affected by the loss of a loved one including hundreds of articles created by theologists and psychologists on grief, mourning, religious traditions, cultural customs and the most respectful ways to express condolences. Users can also find suggestions on what to send to grieving families and order carefully selected, high-quality products straight from the site. Expert guidance on planning and coordinating following a loss are also available on eCondolence.com.
“As we began to partner with more hospices and benefit organizations, the need for an easy solution to provide clients – employees or families – with information on grief became clear,” says Michael Schimmel, CEO and founder of eCondolence.com. “GriefDesk takes the information and educational materials available on eCondolence.com and provides it in a way that organizations can best utilize it to support grieving families and employees.”
The GriefDesk solution provides companies the right to reproduce a vast library of informational and educational content, customized web pages, e-newsletters and print designs to enhance bereavement outreach as well as full scale campaigns aimed at client engagement.
“Leveraging the information and communication materials from GriefDesk has helped our organization tremendously,” says Gisele Crowe, Executive Director of Seasons Hospice Foundation. “I’m able to engage with families earlier and more often, loved ones have additional layers of support, and our staff has access to high-quality resources for just about every situation they encounter.”
