Obituary

Rachel M. Oliver, 48, of Eaton, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital on October 19, 2024. She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on December 29, 1975.
Rachel was a dedicated medical assistant who cherished her role in caring for others. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, who held an extremely special place in her heart. She had a deep love for the water, enjoying activities like paddle boarding, canoeing, and swimming. Rachel was also a devoted pet owner, and her dogs, Millie and Weston, brought her much happiness.
She is survived by her mother Becky Poore Rodgers  son, Austin Rodgers; her daughter, Brooke Oliver; her sister, Jennifer Shilling; and two beloved grandchildren. Rachel's extended family and friends will deeply miss her warmth and spirit.
Rachel was preceded in death by husband Michael Jackson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana, on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a service at 6:30 PM. Online condolences can be made at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com.
